For Jonquil, I found this classic peplum dess from Ricielli. For those of you that may not have known, the peplum originated in ancient Greece as a loosely worn tunic and while it has changed form slightly, it’s style has endured through the centuries. Here are two great blogs, Couture Carrie and gchicnotes that have lots of great examples of peplums and some interesting history behind them. Ricielli’s mesh version features a sweetheart neckline and is very curve hugging 🙂 I paired it with black accessories, such as Ricielli’s Cowhide Black Leather tote bag (also mesh). Mood’s Dakhla Choker set and N-Core’s Emporium heels complete the outfit. My hair is D!iva’s, Sayaka2.
Happy Shopping ❤
I have been shopping fast and furiously today, but I have been getting some awesome deals so I put together an outfit to show you some of my great finds.
Ricielli is having a 50% off sale on all of their mesh items. They have a huge selection of items, including purses, but you have to hurry the sale ends today! The purse I am wearing, the cowhide tote leather bag in Olive, is Ricielli’s group gifty (and the group is free to join!). I am wearing a jumpsuit that I purchased at Ricielli today and it is very elegant! I didn’t have a lot of difficulty fitting into it either. It required a small adjustment to make my torso less muscular, otherwise the small was a perfect fit. I love how this jumpsuit hugs my curves! My shoes are a group gifty from N-Core (another free group!). They are a “wild” version of their very popular Coquette shoe. I picked up my eyes yesterday at One Voice. They are Deep Eyes from By Snow.
The rest of outfit consists of things that were already in my inventory and as far as I know, are not on sale right now. My hair is from Catwa. My earrings, necklace and bracelets are from Mandala. My rings are from Dark Mouse. My skin is from Mons, and my nails are from Love Soul.
Happy Shopping ❤
Well, I didn’t find this week’s color, particularly difficult, however photographing it turned out to be the challenging part of this blog. My hard drive died not long ago, and I have a brand new computer and I am using the new Exodus viewer, both of which are making my life a little difficult LOL. Since I have my new computer and have started using Exodus, it is much easier for me to wear mesh now and I love it!!!! This dress is Fling from Chain and Vine. If you haven’t visited Chain and Vine, they have some very nice mesh pieces. My hair is Eva from Catwa, my skin is Lyra from Dream Ink, my jewelry is the Lia Crystal set from EarthStones, my eyeliner and eyeshadow are from Chelle. My shoes are from G Field. I am done traveling for a while and my computer is fixed, so I will be blogging more! Have a good week everyone!
I do!!!!! Last week, Luminescent Jewell, designer and owner of Taste, dropped a few very sexy items on me… Check these out! This black lace lingerie set is called Tease. It is very pretty and feminine and comes with the lace trimmed stockings and gloves.
This body stocking is called Seduction and is available in black or white.
This corset dress is called Temptation. It can be worn as a lingerie set also.
This flirty lil number is called Taboo. The dress is very seductively laced in the front and the back!
What I am wearing:
My hair is from Catwa, my skin is Lyra from Dream Ink, my plain black shoes are from Hucci, the spiked heels are from N-Core, the jewelry in the top picture is from Mood, and the jewelry in the other pictures is from Mandala. My tattoos are from Glue Ink.
One of the best SL Fashion bloggers, Gogo, has created a short little challenge, 12 Days of Lingerie. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, all these lingerie posts will definitely get our romantic juices flowing! I am wearing Catherine from Angel Dessous. Every Wednesday, Angel Dessous offers a black box for 69L. The box contains a mystery outfit that you surely will not be disappointed with. This lingerie set was a black box outfit in December. My jewelry is Chrysalis from Mood, my hair is Knotted from LeLutka, and my heels are from Hucci 🙂
For this week’s 52 Weeks of Color Challenge, I found an adorable, vintage looking satin dress at Fishy Strawberry. It is the perfect shade of coral! I matched it with a vintage gold chain necklace from [glow]. Since it is winter in Ohio (my rl home), my coral dress felt a little summery. So, I headed to GField to look for a sweater. I was not disappointed! I found this adorable, ruffled bolero in ivory. I also found the perfect pair of coral heels and coordinating leg warmers! What a perfect shopping day! My winter skybox is from Magic Nook, my setee is from Awesome Blossom (closing on Jan 15th so having a 50% off sale right now!!), my hair is from D!va, my eyes are Bubblegum from Aphotic Gloom. My skin is Polly from Al Vulo, which I blogged here. My lipstain is from CheLLe.
