For Jonquil, I found this classic peplum dess from Ricielli. For those of you that may not have known, the peplum originated in ancient Greece as a loosely worn tunic and while it has changed form slightly, it’s style has endured through the centuries. Here are two great blogs, Couture Carrie and gchicnotes that have lots of great examples of peplums and some interesting history behind them. Ricielli’s mesh version features a sweetheart neckline and is very curve hugging 🙂 I paired it with black accessories, such as Ricielli’s Cowhide Black Leather tote bag (also mesh). Mood’s Dakhla Choker set and N-Core’s Emporium heels complete the outfit. My hair is D!iva’s, Sayaka2.

I have been shopping fast and furiously today, but I have been getting some awesome deals so I put together an outfit to show you some of my great finds.
Ricielli is having a 50% off sale on all of their mesh items. They have a huge selection of items, including purses, but you have to hurry the sale ends today! The purse I am wearing, the cowhide tote leather bag in Olive, is Ricielli’s group gifty (and the group is free to join!). I am wearing a jumpsuit that I purchased at Ricielli today and it is very elegant! I didn’t have a lot of difficulty fitting into it either. It required a small adjustment to make my torso less muscular, otherwise the small was a perfect fit. I love how this jumpsuit hugs my curves! My shoes are a group gifty from N-Core (another free group!). They are a “wild” version of their very popular Coquette shoe. I picked up my eyes yesterday at One Voice. They are Deep Eyes from By Snow.
The rest of outfit consists of things that were already in my inventory and as far as I know, are not on sale right now. My hair is from Catwa. My earrings, necklace and bracelets are from Mandala. My rings are from Dark Mouse. My skin is from Mons, and my nails are from Love Soul.

Well, here is my Royal Purple…I found this color to be really, really hard! However, I do love the shirt I found. It is an oldie that was in my inventory, from the long defunct, Pixeldolls. My pants are Chain and Vine’s new mesh leather pants. My hair is one of Truth’s newest releases, Auralee. It is a partial mesh style, but I didn’t like the mesh portion that went over the shoulders because it didn’t actually lie on my shoulders. So, I just left it off. My earrings, rings, and nails are from Mandala. My shoes are from N-core. Have a good week everyone!!
Philo is introducing this romantic dress, Stella, at the Vintage Fair. Stella is a rich satin dress featuring a sweetheart bodice, a tulle underlayer for fullness, finished with a bow at the waist.
With the Burgandy Dress, I am wearing hair from Boon, jewelry from Donna Flora, N-Core’s Pin up Heels, stockings from Angel Dessous, and my skin is from Glam Affair.
With the Emerald Dress, I am wearing an updo from Boon, jewelry from Alienbear, gloves from Mohna Lisa Couture, and my skin is from Lara Hurley.
In case you aren’t aware, Luna Jubilee has issued a blogger’s challenge…52 weeks of color. A new color each week and we have to come up with an outfit predominantly of that color. I had very little grey in my inventory so I had to go shopping! Yay me! Well, I found myself at Mimikri. I bought this adorable heather grey sweater called Holly and my pink and grey plaid skirt is Holly Solstice. My hair is from Boon, my jewelry is from Donna Flora, and my heels are N-core High School Xtreme Heels. My skin is Jina from Adam n Eve.
