52 Weeks of Color~Part Deux~Tea Green

Well, I didn’t find this week’s color, particularly difficult, however photographing it turned out to be the challenging part of this blog.  My hard drive died not long ago, and I have a brand new computer and I am using the new Exodus viewer, both of which are making my life a little difficult LOL.   Since I have my new computer and have started using Exodus, it is much easier for me to wear mesh now and I love it!!!!  This dress is Fling from Chain and Vine.  If you haven’t visited Chain and Vine, they have some very nice mesh pieces.  My hair is Eva from Catwa, my skin is Lyra from Dream Ink, my jewelry is the Lia Crystal set from EarthStones, my eyeliner and eyeshadow are from Chelle.  My shoes are from G Field.  I am done traveling for a while and my computer is fixed, so I will be blogging more!  Have a good week everyone!

I do!!!!!  Last week, Luminescent Jewell, designer and owner of Taste, dropped a few very sexy items on me…  Check these out!  This black lace lingerie set is called Tease.  It is very pretty and feminine and comes with the lace trimmed stockings and gloves.

This body stocking is called Seduction and is available in black or white.

This corset dress is called Temptation.  It can be worn as a lingerie set also.

This flirty lil number is called Taboo.  The dress is very seductively laced in the front and the back!

My hair is from Catwa, my skin is Lyra from Dream Ink, my plain black shoes are from Hucci, the spiked heels are from N-Core, the jewelry in the top picture is from Mood, and the jewelry in the other pictures is from Mandala.  My tattoos are from Glue Ink.

Cleaning out my closet :)

Lately my closet has been totally out of control!  I am not the best about filing things away as I should be…  I came across lots of mystery boxes, which can be fun.  Most of the time, I love the stuff when I unpack it, but I have had a couple ‘WTH was I thinking???’ moments.  LOL.  This is one of the outfits I can across in my inventory…don’t worry its a keeper :D.  This curve hugging dress is from LeBloom.  LeBloom is a new to me store that I came across when exploring the new Exodi location.  Can you believe this beautiful ruby and onyx jewelry set from Lazuri was just sitting unused in my inventory?  It is soo pretty and sophisticated.  I then added a pair of vintage stockings from No. 9 Nylons.  Putting together a new outfit makes cleaning out my closet a little more tolerable 🙂

 

Beautiful Dirty Rich, The Urban Winter Hunt & Awesome Blossom

It is chilly bitterly cold here in Ohio!  Right now I am sitting in my cozy family room and enjoying a warm fire after having spent the day cooking a traditional polish dinner, homemade pierogies and kielbasa.  Yummmm 🙂  I love this outfit, Sweet Winter, from Beautiful Dirty Rich for the Urban Winter Hunt.  The Urban Winter Hunt started on January 8th and ends on the 31st.  This outfit features an adorable cropped sweater and denim miniskirt.  I am wearing one of Truth’s new hairstyles, Velvet and I am still loving G Field’s legwarmers!  Today I matched them with their overknee button socks.  I am also wearing a brooch from Mood called l’amore vola.  The last picture is me after trying to roll out the dough for the pierogies with my two year old daughter!  LOL.  My baker’s rack is from Awesome Blossom, which is closing tomorrow 😦  They will be selling their items on marketplace, but until they close their doors tomorrow, everything is 50% off!  They have a lot of cute furniture and homes, which are all on sale.

Legal Insanity and Lara Hurley <3

Erin by Adiva Couture

We all thought Adiva was closing down…but AnneJoy Paine has decided to stick around.  This is great news for us, because she has many wonderful designs 🙂  This is her newest release, Erin.  Erin is a white sweater dress with a plunging neckline and coordinating belt.  I have paired it with red boots from Bax Coen, and the Pearl Rain jewelry set from Mandala.  My rings are from Dark Mouse, my stockings are from Angel Dessous, and my hair is from D!iva.  My skin is Elly from Pink Fuel.

The Vintage Fair-Dilly Dolls

When I received this new dress, Delilah, from Dilly Dolls, I was inspired to try to style it as a Rockabilly look.  I have been seeing tons of blog posts for the Vintage Fair, but nothing Rockabilly…so here is my attempt 🙂  What is Rockabilly?  Well, modern day Rockabilly style imitates and somewhat modernizes the original style worn in the 50’s.  The original Rockabilly style was made popular by artists such as Elvis, Buddy Holly, and Bill Haley that sang music that was a combination of Rock and Hillbilly (Country).  Delilah is the perfect dress for Rockabilly.  It has the sweetheart bodice with a touch of cheetah print, and a nice full skirt that accentuates a tiny waist.  My hair is Pin Up from Vanity Hair.  This is called a Victory Roll Hairstyle.  The name comes from a fighter pilot maneuver, and was a wildly popular style in the 50’s.  Ladies would sleep with pin curls in their hair all night that would result in rolls in the hair.  The rolls would then be pinned into elegant styles. My tattoo is “Such is Life” by Glue Ink.  My retro sunglasses are from Dark Mouse.  My pearls are from Earthstones and my skin is from Exodi.

52 Weeks of Color~Electric Blue

Not long ago, when doing the Platinum Hunt, I bought outfits to fill in the colors I am missing from the 52 Weeks of Color.  Hunts can be VERY expensive for me LOL.  Electric Blue goes all the way back to week 35, so I’m just a teeny bit late 🙂

My hair is from 69, my jewelry is from Je Suis, and my dress is Colorful from Peqe.

Sexiness & My Derriere <3

I was recently undergoing some SL Retail Therapy and I found myself at Kim Bodysuits.  I hadn’t been there in quite a while and I must admit I loved the new build and the clothing line has really been expanded!  I came across this sexy black dress with a little hint of gold trim, Lykra.

Recently Gogo put out a blog challenge to highlight an often ignored part of our body, our derriere.  Here is my derriere shot 🙂

While out dropping tons of lindens, I picked up some new jewelry and nails from Mandala.  Yay me!  I love the chunkiness of the Kabuki set.  The earring set comes in several different sizes and of course the bracelets can be worn with and without the nails and vice versa.
