52 Weeks of Color~Part Deux~Jonquil

For Jonquil, I found this classic peplum dess from Ricielli.  For those of you that may not have known, the peplum originated in ancient Greece as a loosely worn tunic and while it has changed form slightly, it’s style has endured through the centuries.  Here are two great blogs, Couture Carrie and gchicnotes that have lots of great examples of peplums and some interesting history behind them.  Ricielli’s mesh version features a sweetheart neckline and is very curve hugging 🙂 I paired it with black accessories, such as Ricielli’s Cowhide Black Leather tote bag (also mesh).  Mood’s Dakhla Choker set and N-Core’s Emporium heels complete the outfit.  My hair is D!iva’s, Sayaka2.

52 Weeks of Color~Part Deux~Seashell Peach

I must say, I found this color to be the easiest one yet!  I had quite a few items in my inventory that matched.  I settled on this pretty lace dress from Mimikri, called Suza.  My jewelry is the Siddean Dark Garnet set from Mood.  My eye shadow and lipstain are from Chelle.  My hair is from Catwa.  Sorry to be abrupt, but the Easter Bunny (me) still has eggs and baskets to fill LOL.  Have a Happy Easter everyone!

I do!!!!!  Last week, Luminescent Jewell, designer and owner of Taste, dropped a few very sexy items on me…  Check these out!  This black lace lingerie set is called Tease.  It is very pretty and feminine and comes with the lace trimmed stockings and gloves.

This body stocking is called Seduction and is available in black or white.

This corset dress is called Temptation.  It can be worn as a lingerie set also.

This flirty lil number is called Taboo.  The dress is very seductively laced in the front and the back!

12 Days of Lingerie~Day 1

One of the best SL Fashion bloggers, Gogo, has created a short little challenge, 12 Days of Lingerie.  With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, all these lingerie posts will definitely get our romantic juices flowing!  I am wearing Catherine from Angel Dessous.  Every Wednesday, Angel Dessous offers a black box for 69L.  The box contains a mystery outfit that you surely will not be disappointed with.  This lingerie set was a black box outfit in December.  My jewelry is Chrysalis from Mood, my hair is Knotted from LeLutka, and my heels are from Hucci 🙂

 

Vero Modero~Perfect for Valentine’s Day!

As part of their winter collection, Vero Modero has released three stunning formal gowns.  The first gown is Mistwalker.  It features a dramatic collar and tail with a bright satin skirt.  With it, I am wearing hair from W&Y and jewelry from Gems & Kisses.

The second gown is mesh gown called, Zoe.  It features a straight neckline, very full sleeves, and a long straight skirt. My hair is from Catwa and my jewelry is from Mandala.

This beautiful gown, is called Deeta.  It has beautiful silver embroidery on the bodice and skirt.  My hair is from Catwa and my jewelry is from Mood.

Beautiful Dirty Rich, The Urban Winter Hunt & Awesome Blossom

It is chilly bitterly cold here in Ohio!  Right now I am sitting in my cozy family room and enjoying a warm fire after having spent the day cooking a traditional polish dinner, homemade pierogies and kielbasa.  Yummmm 🙂  I love this outfit, Sweet Winter, from Beautiful Dirty Rich for the Urban Winter Hunt.  The Urban Winter Hunt started on January 8th and ends on the 31st.  This outfit features an adorable cropped sweater and denim miniskirt.  I am wearing one of Truth’s new hairstyles, Velvet and I am still loving G Field’s legwarmers!  Today I matched them with their overknee button socks.  I am also wearing a brooch from Mood called l’amore vola.  The last picture is me after trying to roll out the dough for the pierogies with my two year old daughter!  LOL.  My baker’s rack is from Awesome Blossom, which is closing tomorrow 😦  They will be selling their items on marketplace, but until they close their doors tomorrow, everything is 50% off!  They have a lot of cute furniture and homes, which are all on sale.

New Mesh from Siss Boom

I have not done a lot with mesh because I was not fond of any of the mesh-compatible viewers, until Phoenix updated theirs 🙂  Now, I get to play with mesh too!  Yay!!  I must admit, it is pretty darn cool!  I love the way it lays on my avatar’s skin, not in it.  Anyway…onto the beautiful dress I am wearing.   This curve hugging gown is Tempermental from Siss Boom.  It features a lovely skirt overlay and a sheer wrap over the shoulder.  My hair is Argentina from Osmose, my jewelry is Desiderio from Mood.

Introducing Nokta by Vero Modero

Recently Vero Modero released this lovely gown, Nokta.  Nokta has a flowing skirt, with a bow tied at the waist and at on the back.  The pattern, is quite lovely and soft unlike most geometric patterns.  I am wearing it with Mood’s Chrysalis jewelry set.  My hair is Gina from Fab-U-Lous.  My eyes are Bubblegum Clarus Eyes from Aphotic Gloom.

Introducing Uni by Vero Modero

This flirtatious gown is Uni by Vero Modero.  I love love love this dress!  Once I styled it, I didn’t take it off for three days!  I love how sexy and feminine this dress is!  My hair is Minerva by Vanity Hair, my jewelry is Siddean by Mood.  My nails are from [love soul].
