52 Weeks of Color-Part Deux~Patina

Its hard to believe that it is already week 5 of Luna Jubilee’s 52 Weeks of Color Challenge!  I thought Patina would be a hard color, but I found this outfit from Sascha’s called Vicky, pretty easily in my inventory.  The outfit comes in three colors, this particular one being aqua, or Patina in my book LOL.  It features a Madonna-esque top and matching jeans.  My jewelry set is from Zuri’s and is called Turquoise Moonglow.  My hair is from W&Y and my skin is from YS&YS.  My ring is from Mood.

Vero Modero~Perfect for Valentine’s Day!

As part of their winter collection, Vero Modero has released three stunning formal gowns.  The first gown is Mistwalker.  It features a dramatic collar and tail with a bright satin skirt.  With it, I am wearing hair from W&Y and jewelry from Gems & Kisses.

The second gown is mesh gown called, Zoe.  It features a straight neckline, very full sleeves, and a long straight skirt. My hair is from Catwa and my jewelry is from Mandala.

This beautiful gown, is called Deeta.  It has beautiful silver embroidery on the bodice and skirt.  My hair is from Catwa and my jewelry is from Mood.

52 Weeks of Color-Part Deux~Iron

Well, its the fourth week and I am already behind.  My RL has been a little hectic lately…Mr. Teardrop had his rotator cuff repaired last week :(   Silly me didn’t think it would be too difficult to take care of a one armed hubby, 3 dogs, 2 kids and a house.  Anywhooo…  life is good now and I am back to bloggin’!  I didn’t have a lot of time to shop this week so I had to find something in my inventory.  Since I have 63k items in my inventory I should be able to find something iron right?  Well, I came across this shirt from Adiva (which I think is now closed), it is part of the Studio 54 outfit.  I am wearing it with leather pants from XTC Leather.  My hair is Yuri, a new release from Catwa.  My earrings are from [glow].

Cleaning out my closet :)

Lately my closet has been totally out of control!  I am not the best about filing things away as I should be…  I came across lots of mystery boxes, which can be fun.  Most of the time, I love the stuff when I unpack it, but I have had a couple ‘WTH was I thinking???’ moments.  LOL.  This is one of the outfits I can across in my inventory…don’t worry its a keeper :D .  This curve hugging dress is from LeBloom.  LeBloom is a new to me store that I came across when exploring the new Exodi location.  Can you believe this beautiful ruby and onyx jewelry set from Lazuri was just sitting unused in my inventory?  It is soo pretty and sophisticated.  I then added a pair of vintage stockings from No. 9 Nylons.  Putting together a new outfit makes cleaning out my closet a little more tolerable :)

Beautiful Dirty Rich, The Urban Winter Hunt & Awesome Blossom

It is chilly bitterly cold here in Ohio!  Right now I am sitting in my cozy family room and enjoying a warm fire after having spent the day cooking a traditional polish dinner, homemade pierogies and kielbasa.  Yummmm :)  I love this outfit, Sweet Winter, from Beautiful Dirty Rich for the Urban Winter Hunt.  The Urban Winter Hunt started on January 8th and ends on the 31st.  This outfit features an adorable cropped sweater and denim miniskirt.  I am wearing one of Truth’s new hairstyles, Velvet and I am still loving G Field’s legwarmers!  Today I matched them with their overknee button socks.  I am also wearing a brooch from Mood called l’amore vola.  The last picture is me after trying to roll out the dough for the pierogies with my two year old daughter!  LOL.  My baker’s rack is from Awesome Blossom, which is closing tomorrow :(  They will be selling their items on marketplace, but until they close their doors tomorrow, everything is 50% off!  They have a lot of cute furniture and homes, which are all on sale.

52 Weeks of Color Part Deux-Electric Indigo

Its week 3 already!  So far I am enjoying the challenge and I am determined to not get behind.  I was thrilled to find this very pretty dress in my inventory.  It is one of Jasilyn Amiot’s creations, Jazzy’s Midnight Blue, that she designed for her store, Jazzy’s Elite Designs.  She may call it Midnight Blue, but I consider it Indigo :)  My jewelry is Nova from Gems & Kisses.  My hair is Gina from Fab-U-Lous and my skin is Al Vulo’s Polly skin in cacoa.  This picture was taken in my garden and my windlight settings are Bree’s Appleblossom.

52 Weeks of Color~Coral

For this week’s 52 Weeks of Color Challenge, I found an adorable, vintage looking satin dress at Fishy Strawberry.  It is the perfect shade of coral!  I matched it with a vintage gold chain necklace from [glow].  Since it is winter in Ohio (my rl home), my coral dress felt a little summery.  So, I headed to GField to look for a sweater.  I was not disappointed!  I found this adorable, ruffled bolero in ivory.  I also found the perfect pair of coral heels and coordinating leg warmers!  What a perfect shopping day!  My winter skybox is from Magic Nook, my setee is from Awesome Blossom (closing on Jan 15th so having a 50% off sale right now!!), my hair is from D!va, my eyes are Bubblegum from Aphotic Gloom. My skin is Polly from Al Vulo, which I blogged here.  My lipstain is from CheLLe.

New Mesh from Siss Boom

I have not done a lot with mesh because I was not fond of any of the mesh-compatible viewers, until Phoenix updated theirs :)  Now, I get to play with mesh too!  Yay!!  I must admit, it is pretty darn cool!  I love the way it lays on my avatar’s skin, not in it.  Anyway…onto the beautiful dress I am wearing.   This curve hugging gown is Tempermental from Siss Boom.  It features a lovely skirt overlay and a sheer wrap over the shoulder.  My hair is Argentina from Osmose, my jewelry is Desiderio from Mood.

52 Weeks of Color is Back!!!!

Luna Jubilee has decided to continue her blog challenge, 52 Weeks of Color!  The first color for 2012 is Champagne…a perfect color to start a new year!  Here is my Champagne outfit…My dress is from R.icielli and is on sale right now at The Dressing Room.  My jacket is from Aoharu.  My jewelry is from Mandala, and my hair is from ploom.

Newness from Blacklace and Al Vulo Skins <3

Today was an excellent shopping day!  I picked up this adorable teddy, Princess Puff, from Blacklace today.  It is available in 3 different colors and comes with a scripted collar.  Today there was a lot of chatter in the Skin Addiction group about this great Al Vulo skin available at the Private Room.  So, of course, being the skin whore that I am, I had to check it out.  This skin, Polly, is indeed very pretty.  It is a natural skin, which can be customized with makeups.  Check out all of the highlighting on the body, I really like how it was done.  I chose the Cacoa skintone, but it is also available in Sunkissed and Porcelain.  Please note, other than some liquefying on rough edges, these photos have not been edited at all so you can see what the skin’s true appearance.
